We take the topic "Coronavirus" very seriously and follow the development running. We would be pleased to inform you about our measures in connection with coronavirus.
As a manufacturer of food packaging, we have a certified management system, which also includes BRC certification (Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials - High Hygiene Risk Category). We are certified at BRC with one of the highest levels (Grade AA) and are audited annually. Thanks to the BRC Global Standard, we have maintained a high standard of hygiene at both PAWI locations for many years, which is characterised by very good personnel and operational hygiene, among other things.
What do we do?
Our sales team works in the home office.
Our consultants in the sales office work in 2-shift operation.
Our employees adhere to the hygiene regulations such as washing and disinfecting their hands and wearing gloves.
The cleaning and disinfection of factory equipment, machines and sanitary facilities is carried out several times a day.
Employees are required to keep their distance from each other. This also applies to the break rooms and the canteen. Where workplaces are close together, partition walls have been erected or workplaces have been relocated.
The employees were informed verbally and in writing about the measures.
Our raw materials do not originate from risk countries.
Production, sales and delivery are running as usual, but taking all precautionary measures into account.
A team consisting of employees from all important areas is working on possible measures and scenarios.
We follow the information from the BMG (Germany) and the BAG (Switzerland) and are in close contact with our industry associations FFI and SVI. We follow developments in Europe and worldwide with great attention and, if necessary, derive further follow-up measures for our company.
