Sustainability starts at the energy source: In Winterthur, Singen and Warsaw, we rely on modern photovoltaic systems that, depending on location and weather conditions, cover up to 40% of our energy needs. The integrated solar cells convert sunlight into electricity, which is then used directly for our production.

By using renewable energy, we actively contribute to more sustainable packaging manufacturing while strengthening our energy independence.

PAWI Packaging AG in Winterthur:
Since 1 October 2025, more than 1,200 PV modules with a total surface area of around 2,500 m² have been feeding electricity directly into the plant’s internal power grid.

PAWI Packaging GmbH in Singen:
Since 20XX, our production site in Singen has been generating over 40% of its energy needs with a 4,500 m² photovoltaic installation.

PAWI Packaging Poland in Warsaw:
In September 2022, the first solar panels were installed on the roof of our production site in Poland. Around 250 m² of PV modules now support packaging production with sustainable energy.
