BRC Global Standard – all three PAWI plants successfully audited
Safe packaging is crucial for the quality and shelf life of food, which is why PAWI insists on the highest standards – with no compromises. We’re delighted that all three PAWI Group plants – in Switzerland, Germany and, for the first time, Poland – passed the demanding BRC Global Standard Packaging Materials certification audit with top marks this spring. Audited by Quality Austria and Bureau Veritas Certification, this certificate confirms our commitment to quality, safety and transparency along the entire production chain.

The BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials is a globally recognised certification developed specifically for packaging manufacturers. The BRCGS is also the first packaging standard to be recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). This standard ensures that businesses meet strict hygiene, safety and quality management requirements. For PAWI, this means that all production processes are seamlessly controlled and optimised to meet the high expectations of the food and consumer goods industry.
As well as being a seal of quality, this certification is also a prerequisite for many businesses that work with sensitive products. It guarantees to our customers that PAWI meets the highest hygiene standards, minimises risks and ensures consistently high product quality. This creates trust and means that our partners can count on packaging that satisifies the strictest requirements.
While the plants in Switzerland and Germany have been BRC-certified since 2017, this was the first time our plant in Poland had been audited for this standard – with great success! The AA certification confirms that our newest site also meets the strict requirements and is thus taking a further step in the PAWI Group’s international quality strategy.
By successfully obtaining BRC certification for all three of our plants, we show that PAWI makes no compromises when it comes to quality and food safety. Our customers benefit from certified packaging solutions that meet the highest international standards – for maximum safety and assurance.
