BRC Global Standard – all three PAWI plants successfully audited
Safe packaging is crucial for the quality and shelf life of food. Therefore, PAWI insists on the highest standards – with no compromises. This spring, all three PAWI Group plants – in Switzerland, Germany, and, for the first time, Poland – passed the demanding BRC Global Standard Packaging Materials certification audit with top marks. Auditors from Quality Austria and Bureau Veritas Certification confirmed our commitment to quality, safety, and transparency.
BRC Global Standard: Benchmark for Quality and Safety
The BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials is a globally recognised certification developed specifically for packaging manufacturers. Moreover, it was the first packaging standard to be recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The standard requires strict hygiene, safety, and quality management measures. For PAWI, this means we control and optimise every production process to meet the high expectations of the food and consumer goods industry.
In addition to being a seal of quality, the certification is a prerequisite for many businesses handling sensitive products. It shows our customers that PAWI maintains the highest hygiene standards, minimises risks, and ensures consistently high product quality. Consequently, our partners can rely on packaging that meets the strictest requirements.
A First for the Poland Plant
While our plants in Switzerland and Germany have been certified since 2017, this spring marked the first BRC audit for our Poland plant – and it passed with flying colours. The AA certification proves that our newest site meets the same rigorous standards and represents another step in the PAWI Group’s international quality strategy.
By achieving BRC certification across all three plants, PAWI demonstrates that we make no compromises in quality or food safety. As a result, our customers benefit from certified packaging solutions that meet the highest international standards, ensuring maximum safety and trust.
