Another Step Toward Sustainable Logistics: PAWI Introduces Its First Fully Electric Truck

We are taking an important step toward sustainable logistics: this year, our first fully electric truck, a Mercedes-Benz eActros, has joined our fleet in Winterthur. With this investment, we are consciously investing in a low-emission future and actively advancing electric mobility within our company.

The fully electric truck replaces a conventional diesel vehicle on defined routes and is charged with electricity from renewable sources in Winterthur. As a result, this initiative makes a tangible contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions and improving air quality, while supporting more sustainable logistics operations.

Moreover, operating the electric truck daily allows us to collect valuable insights into range, charging behavior, efficiency, and everyday usability. These learnings will help us strategically electrify additional fleet routes. Although the initial investment is higher, the electric truck proves its long-term value: lower energy costs, quieter operation, and reduced environmental impact speak for themselves.
