We are delighted that three packaging solutions developed by us have been nominated this year. They show how versatile cartonboard packaging can be. The applications range from cosmetics and hearing aid accessories to premium chocolate.

ISANA Purple Serenitea gift set

For the ISANA Purple Serenitea gift set, we developed packaging for care products. It presents the products in a high-quality way and holds them securely in place. The bag-style construction keeps the shower gel and body lotion together. It presents them as a harmonious set.

A film-free window makes the contents directly visible. The colour palette, floral design elements and round window shape reflect the character of the care line. As a result, the packaging combines product protection, shelf impact and a clear brand experience at the point of sale.

Phonak EasyGuard™ Starter Kit

For Phonak, a brand of the Sonova Group, we developed a compact cartonboard packaging system. It is designed for hearing aid accessories. The individual packs of the Phonak EasyGuard™ Starter Kit replace a previous plastic packaging solution. They combine functionality, product protection and machine processability in a very small format.

The starter kit brings the individual packs together safely and clearly. This creates a well-considered solution for a sensitive product environment. It supports clear handling in retail. At the same time, it contributes to a reduced, high-quality brand appearance.

Packaging concept for Läderach chocolate bars

For Läderach, we developed a packaging concept for premium chocolate bars. It presents the product effectively. It also makes the brand experience tangible from the moment of opening. The solution includes individual packaging for chocolate bars. It also includes a gift pack for several bars. Together, they create an exclusive present.

The interplay of construction, print and embossing is particularly striking. The recessed lid creates visual depth. Inside surfaces provide space for storytelling and brand communication. At the same time, the packaging is designed for an efficient packaging process. The one-piece construction supports this. Flat delivery also contributes to efficiency. Automated forming and closing complete the process-oriented design.

The European Carton Excellence Award (ECEA), organised by Pro Carton and the European Carton Makers Association (ECMA), is one of the most prestigious awards in the European packaging industry.
