The PAWI Group has acquired the Warsaw-based packaging manufacturer Printmax (Poland). With this acquisition, we are strategically expanding our portfolio of high-quality carton and paper packaging solutions for the food and non-food sectors to include premium folding cartons for cosmetics, near-pharma and luxury goods. At the same time, this step enables us to enter the steadily growing Polish market and strengthens our international competitive position in a highly competitive environment.

Expansion of the product portfolio
With the acquisition of Printmax, we are specifically expanding our capabilities in high-end folding cartons for the non-food sector. The Warsaw site employs around 80 people and specialises in advanced finishing techniques such as offset printing, hot stamping, cold foil applications and sophisticated laminations.
As a result, we complement our existing portfolio and create new opportunities for applications in cosmetics, near-pharma and luxury goods. At the same time, we are opening up additional market segments and expanding our European customer base.
Strategic growth and new markets
For more than 60 years, we have been developing and producing high-quality carton and paper packaging solutions for the bakery, confectionery and industrial food and non-food sectors. With our sites in Winterthur (Switzerland) and Singen (Germany), we are firmly established in the industry.
In line with our strategy to grow and enter new markets, we are continuously expanding our international presence. The acquisition of Printmax is therefore a logical next step.
Printmax is part of our growth. Printmax produces exclusive packaging for cosmetics, near-pharmaceuticals and luxury goods.

Clear focus of the production sites
Our strategy is based on a clear positioning of each production site. This consistent focus will also be maintained following the acquisition of Printmax: no orders will be transferred from Winterthur or Singen to Warsaw.
Instead, we continue to develop the specific strengths of each site. This ensures that our customers benefit from specialised solutions, high efficiency and reliable processes.
