A look behind the scenes

The Environmental Report 2025 provides insight into our sustainable activities across the entire value chain. This includes development, production and collaboration with our partners.

It highlights our progress, shows where we currently stand and provides orientation for the next steps. At the same time, it makes clear that sustainable change only creates impact when it is approached with a long-term perspective and implemented consistently.

Step by step with impact

Many changes start small. This is exactly where we begin – with measures that often remain invisible in everyday operations but make a real difference when combined.

We continuously challenge the status quo, further develop solutions and explore new approaches – always with the goal of conserving resources and making packaging more sustainable.

At the same time, we are advancing larger projects: At our Winterthur site, we now generate our own solar energy, improving both energy efficiency and independence. We are also taking new approaches in our production processes, for example with “greenplate”, a resource-efficient die-cutting base plate with a high recycled content, combining ecological benefits with high process reliability.

Clear goals, science-based

A key component of our commitment is our alignment with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). It provides the framework for defining scientifically sound climate targets and systematically reducing our emissions.

The report shows where we stand today. The next step is to define measures along the value chain where the greatest impact can be achieved.

What comes next?

Looking ahead, we will continue to refine our targets and further develop our measures. We focus on innovation, close collaboration and long-term thinking.
