Brauerei Aarau AG wanted a sturdy, elegant 3-bottle gift pack for their Stadtwächter beers that could be used flexibly. In addition to traditional retail sales, the packaging also needed to be suitable for mailings and direct shipping.

This specifically required:

• High stability for postal shipping
• Secure fixation of the bottles
• A premium look aligned with the brand identity
• Combination with a separate shipping sleeve

Especially with glass bottles, the right construction is essential to prevent transport damage while maintaining an impeccable product presentation.

Precise construction: insert for maximum fixation

A key element of this packaging is the insert located in the lid area. It was deliberately designed to be very tight, preventing the bottles from rotating during transport and handling.

The advantage:
The bottles remain perfectly in position, and when the packaging is opened, the labels are always neatly aligned facing upwards — an important factor for brand perception by the end customer.

To achieve this result, multiple test runs were carried out. Both the stability of the packaging and the behavior of the bottles during transport were carefully analyzed. Only after extensive testing was the final solution implemented.

Elegant finishing for a premium brand appearance

In addition to functionality, aesthetics played a central role. The packaging was produced using single-color offset printing and enhanced with a matte varnish.

A special highlight is the white hot foil stamping, which creates an elegant, high-end look. This combination emphasizes the premium character of Stadtwächter beers and turns the gift packaging into a real eye-catcher — both on the shelf and during unboxing.
