For back-caffee in Grenchen, we developed a customised praline packaging based on an existing standard box. Using high-precision laser cutting, the logo was finely cut into the lid and combined with coloured board underneath. The result is a distinctive, high-quality packaging solution, ideal for bakeries, pastry shops and confectioneries looking to enhance their product presentation.

Customising an existing praline box

For back-caffee, the goal was to personalise an existing praline box without changing the proven construction. The 9-piece praline box is well established in daily use and meets all requirements for protection, presentation and efficient handling. Instead of developing a new design, the focus was on high-quality finishing to highlight the brand identity.

Using our modern laser cutting technology, we integrated the back-caffee logo directly into the lid of the black praline box. The precision of the system allows even very fine lines and dots to be reproduced accurately, ensuring a clean and elegant appearance.

To enhance the visual effect, we placed coloured board behind the laser cut. For this project, an orange colour matching the corporate design was selected. The contrast highlights the logo and gives the packaging a unique look. The backing colour can easily be changed without modifying the packaging structure.

This solution shows how proven packaging formats can be customised with minimal effort using laser cutting. The method is especially suitable for bakeries, confectioners and pastry shops that want individual packaging while keeping reliable standard boxes.
