In 2023, innovation, sustainability and personal connection were the cornerstones of our journey. This eventful year not only reflected our values, but was also shaped by both exciting and challenging developments.

Efficiency and innovation in the warehouse

2023 began with the modernisation of our high-bay warehouse in Winterthur (Switzerland) and the introduction of a pioneering warehouse management system (WMS) from Jungheinrich. This system is setting new standards in terms of efficiency and laying a solid foundation for future innovations such as real-time delivery tracking.

Innovative positioning with Printmax

In the second quarter of 2023, we reported on the strategic acquisition of Printmax, a first-class packaging plant in Warsaw (Poland). This significant takeover has expanded our portfolio of highly refined folding cartons for the cosmetics, near-pharmaceutical and luxury goods sectors and also strengthened our international competitiveness in a challenging market.

Focus on sustainability

Our passion for sustainability reached its peak in the second quarter of 2023 with the publication of our 2022 environmental report. It presented our efforts to establish environmentally-friendly practices and sustainable packaging solutions.

Personal connection through sociocracy

After five successful years of our sociocratic circular organisation in Winterthur, we introduced the principles of sociocracy in Singen (Germany) in the fourth quarter of 2023 to strengthen personal connection and the targeted development of ideas.

Challenges, and overcoming them

2023 also brought some challenges: Major supply bottlenecks for raw materials and a persistent rise in energy costs placed additional demands on our flexibility and dedication. However, these challenges are what motivate us to develop solutions that minimise the impact on our clients.
